Mike has been teaching and playing guitar professionally for over 10 years. At 31, he brings a youthful and experienced approach to musical instruction. His interests include just about every style of music from early jazz to modern rock. Mike is from the Philadelphia area and enjoys all the local sports teams almost as much as music. He is married and currently resides in West Chester, PA.
Native of Prospect Park, Pa. Rob has been instructing for 13 years at Harcum Medley Music School and performing for over 25 years. Rob is patient and committed to getting your fingers walkin', poppin' and slidin' on the fretboard. Rob can help you with not just learning other people's parts, but writing your own lines and building your technique and beyond. Rob specializes in funk, metal, smooth jazz, standards jazz, pop, classic rock, ballad, country, blues and fretless. His influences range from that of John Entwistle to James Jamerson to Jaco and Victor.
Chet has been the Director of Harcum Medley Music School since 1985. Having studied exclusively with acclaimed guitarist Chuck Anderson, he has performed in a countless variety of venues. He has also performed with and produced numerous recording sessions for local artists at various recording studios. Chet is Director and co-creator of Summer Music Programs, a music summer camp founded in 1993. Received “Best of Philly” 2008 Philadelphia Magazine for best summer camp and 2007 Coolest Camps on the Main Line, Main Line Magazine.

Whether playing Marimba, Brazilian Berimbau, Middle Eastern Frame Drums, African hand drums, Drum set or any other of his extensive collection of world instruments, Ed expresses his enthusiasm and unique sense of rhythm and texture through all things percussive. Classically trained at Penn State University, Ed teaches Percussion at Harcum College and Harcum Medley Music School in Bryn Mawr and General Music class at Lansdowne Friends School in Lansdowne. Ed leads Percussion technique workshops and has an active recording career working extensively with Music Together, a national organization based in Princeton that trains Music teachers and parents in family music making. Ed performs solo jazz works on Marimba and has appeared at most of the major cultural centers in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas as well as appearing as guest artist on numerous recordings.
Richard Graduated with BA from Drexel U. Performs regularly with Jazz, rock, blues, salsa, dixieland, and classical groups, most recently with Justin Guarini, Drive Time, Mojo Mystics, Dukes of Destiny, Jazzapoppin', and Rick Hall's Big Swing Band. He has taught at Cardinal Dougherty High School and Harcum College. Also spends part of the week teaching at Our Lady Star of the Sea School in Cape May, NJ, at St. Ann's in Wildwood, and at West Cape May Elementary. Founder and director of The Beside the Point Sax Ensemble, a performing student jazz ensemble. Richard also composes and arranges for various ensembles.
Stephen Russo has been performing and teaching jazz in the Philadelphia area for the past 30 years during which time he has studied with Pat Martino, Tal Farlow and Tom Lawton. He currently teaches jazz performance as Director of the Jazz Combo at Haverford High School and also maintains a busy private student roster. Stephen also serves as an adjunct guitar instructor at Swarthmore College. He currently performs in and around Philadelphia with the Stephen Russo Trio in addition to his freelance work with various artists. Past performances include those with Jimmy Knepper, Maceo Parker, Tal Farlow, Don Patterson, Billy James, and the Brian Pastor Big Band and he has been a featured artist at the Media Jazz Festival and the “Jazz in the Wood” Collingswood Jazz Festival.
Greg currently teaches guitar at Drexel University, Widener University, and Harcum College and at Harcum Medley Music School as he has since 1986. Greg has played along side of Pat Martino, Tal Farlow, Vinnie Bell and opened for Tom Waits. He studied arranging with Hank Levy and has worked on arrangements with Peter DeAngelis, one of the "Philly/ Sigma Sound" arrangers of the 70's. Leader of Philadelphia’s “Swing Shift,” a versatile small big band that specializes in Swing and party music for private or corporate functions.
